What is the difference between your traditional and hybrid course?

  • Traditional courses give students lectures and hands on skills sessions. Hybrid training provides skills sessions only meaning the hybrid student must be highly motivated to complete all reading and explore concepts individually to ensure comprehension. Our course site does conduct a micro-topic review of most lectures to enhance the student's learning. You can expect to spend 10-15 hours per week doing online work and reading.

Do you make accommodations for students with disabilities or English as a second language learners?

  • If you have had an IEP written in the last 5 years that specifies you should have extended testing time, you will have one and half times the allotted time to take written exams including the state exam. The state does expect students to be proficient in English to be effective EMT’s. Please contact us for all other ADA related questions so that we may best assist you individually in determining what accommodations we may be able to provide.
